Role details

We are forming new development teams in Mexico for a large-scale logistics and maritime industry project. The project focuses on developing innovative software solutions to optimize cargo operations, improve efficiency, and streamline logistics processes for ports and terminals worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact system that major global logistics providers use.

We are considering candidates from the Strong Middle to Lead levels.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks in Java/JavaScript.
  • Write and execute functional and integration tests for REST APIs.
  • Validate requests, responses, payloads, and HTTP statuses to ensure proper API behavior.
  • Test microservices communication through message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Analyze and report defects with detailed reproduction steps.
  • Collaborate with developers and participate in sprint planning to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Java/JavaScript programming with a strong understanding of OOP principles.
  • Hands-on experience with REST API testing, including request/response validation, JSON/XML payload verification, and a solid understanding of HTTP statuses and error codes.
  • Familiarity with test frameworks like JUnit or TestNG for automation.
  • Basic SQL knowledge to query databases and validate backend operations.
  • Proficiency in GIT for version control.
  • Strong knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD processes, including integrating automated tests into pipelines.
  • Basic understanding of message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ to test microservices communication.
