Role details
We are forming new development teams in Mexico for a large-scale logistics and maritime industry project. The project focuses on developing innovative software solutions to optimize cargo operations, improve efficiency, and streamline logistics processes for ports and terminals worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact system that major global logistics providers use.
We are considering candidates from Senior to Lead levels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain product and functional requirements.
- Create and manage user stories, ensuring proper acceptance criteria.
- Analyze business needs, construct workflow diagrams, and document system capabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements and prioritize backlog.
- Align priorities with project schedules and handle issues found in production.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to improve product functionality.
- Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner/Business Analyst.
- Strong understanding of IT industry and software development processes.
- Excellent analytical and self-management skills.
- Experience with UI design techniques and at least one UI mockup tool.
- Hands-on experience with MS Visio (or similar diagramming software), MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Understanding of SQL, including views and stored procedures. Experience with PL/SQL and Oracle is a plus.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills at all organizational levels.
- Advanced English (written & spoken).
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with modern software architecture principles (microservices, caching, NoSQL, RDBMS, etc.).
- Knowledge of black-box testing principles and testing methodologies.
- Experience with Linux/Mac BASH/KSH or Windows PowerShell scripting.
Overlap: full overlap PST daily is a must
