Required Skills & Experience:
- Extensive Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP): Proficiency in GKE, Cloud Storage, CloudBuild, VertexAI, Cloud Monitoring, Identity-Aware Proxy (IAP), GCP Fuse, and Cloud SQL
- DevOps Expertise: Strong experience with Kubernetes (GKE flavor), Helm charts, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Machine Learning (ML) Knowledge: Experience working with LLMs, GenAI (Google Gemini, OpenSource LLMs), and related patterns like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Google Cloud Game Stack: Familiarity with Agones, Open Match, and Quilkin for game-related cloud infrastructure.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with additional cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
- Programming experience: Golang, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable solutions using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and related Google Cloud services
- Integrate and automate DevOps processes using Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (CloudBuild)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy applications within the Google Cloud Game Stack ecosystem (Agones, Open Match, Quilkin)
- Ensure comprehensive cloud monitoring and security practices are in place (Cloud Monitoring, IAP, GCP Fuse)
- Optimize performance and cost-efficiency using GCP storage and database solutions (Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL).
