We’re looking for an experienced Senior Full-stack Engineer to join the team behind one of the world’s largest online community platforms.
About the role:
In this role, they will implement fullstack business features, expand automated test coverage, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.
This position requires experience with both backend and frontend development and a proactive attitude toward addressing complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, performant frontend features and user interfaces.
- Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Develop and enhance automated testing frameworks, tools, and services.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Technology stack
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building applications with ReactJS.
- 3+ years of backend development experience with Python and/or Go.
- Strong experience with software testing, including automated testing and debugging.
- Experience writing reliable, maintainable, and production-ready code.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
- Availability to overlap with the team until 3 PM PST on a daily basis.
Nice to have:Â
- Experience with databases and storage technologies such as Redis, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, or similar solutions.
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and software quality practices.
- Experience with containerization and cloud technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.
