Senior Python/DevOps Engineer

We are actively seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior DevOps Engineer with a focus on coding proficiency. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our cloud architecture while collaborating with key partners and mentoring a team of passionate engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with key partners like security and network engineering to define requirements and standards for public Cloud usage.
  • Work with Capacity engineering on the supply side to integrate with tooling supporting FinOps
  • Understand, document, and communicate best practices for product engineering teams working in public Cloud environments
  • Provide Organizational Technical Direction support: Take high level technical constraints (KTLO,  New Project etc) to work cross functionally across platform org for buy-in and driving that into technical problem statements via designs and implementation plan 
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers via code review and design docs 
  • Contribute to code improvement of the DBX Infrastructure Stack.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience with AWS
  • 4+ years of experience with Python
  • Experience with Terraform
  • CDK for Terraform
  • Bazel
  • Cloud Automation
  • Service-oriented architecture (SOA)

Working with overlap till 12 PM PST
