Project Description

Our client operates one of the world’s largest cloud infrastructure platforms, supporting globally distributed services with massive scale and high reliability requirements. The team is responsible for engineering systems, deployment infrastructure, CI/CD automation, testing platforms, diagnostics, operational tooling, and engineering productivity solutions that enable reliable software delivery worldwide.

This role combines software engineering, DevOps, release engineering, test automation, platform operations, and reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain internal engineering tools for deployment automation, diagnostics, reporting, monitoring, and engineering productivity.
  • Design, develop, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML.
  • Maintain and enhance engineering systems supporting build, release, testing, and operational workflows.
  • Develop and improve automated testing frameworks, validation systems, and quality gates.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure-based development, validation, and testing environments.
  • Investigate build failures, deployment issues, test infrastructure problems, and production incidents.
  • Support security, compliance, operational excellence, and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment automation, reliability, and release velocity.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive remediation activities for operational incidents.

Requirements

Must Have

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering and DevOps experience.
  • Strong C# / .NET development experience.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release management.
  • Experience designing and maintaining YAML-based build and deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with Git, Pull Requests, and code review workflows.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and validation systems.
  • Experience with MSBuild and dotnet build systems.
  • Understanding of Azure infrastructure fundamentals:
    • Virtual Machines
    • Networking
    • Authentication
    • Certificates
    • Service deployment concepts
  • Experience with production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Nice-to-Have

  • Working knowledge of Azure services such as App Service, Storage, Cosmos DB, API Management, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
  • Experience with deployment technologies such as EV2 and modern cloud deployment platforms.
  • Experience with cloud-based test infrastructure and large-scale validation environments.
  • Experience supporting distributed systems and globally scaled services.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker.
  • Understanding of C/C++/Rust build systems.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript or frontend technologies for internal engineering tools.
  • Experience with telemetry systems, monitoring, alerting, Kusto (KQL), ADX, diagnostics, and operational dashboards.
  • Understanding of Service Reliability Engineering (SRE), release governance, and production operations
  • Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, prompt engineering, development or automation workflows.)

Location: remote within Latam only (not open to U.S.-based applicants).
