Senior C# Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior C# Software Engineer to design and implement build pipelines and packaging solutions for Windows SDK distribution, extending build tooling to support modern package formats and ensure supply chain compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Extend and enhance build tooling to support MSIX / MSIX Bundle packaging and NuGet package generation
  • Author and maintain XML-based manifests and packaging configuration for application components
  • Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines for SDK aggregation, validation, versioning, and publishing (including Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions)
  • Implement SBOM generation workflows and integrate software supply chain compliance processes, including secure signing handoff
  • Define and document packaging standards, reusable patterns, and maintain contributor guides for internal teams
  • Create, manage, and track work items to ensure timely delivery of packaging and compliance milestones
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, release management, and security teams to ensure secure and reliable software distribution

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience with C# development
  • Strong understanding of build systems and automation tools including MSBuild and nmake
  • Hands-on experience with Windows installer technologies such as MSI and MSIX
  • Solid understanding of XML-based configuration files and application manifests
  • Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (YAML), including Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions
  • Strong proficiency working with Visual Studio solutions and project files (.sln, .csproj)
  • Understanding of build orchestration and release processes in enterprise environments

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with WiX Toolset for building Windows installation packages
  • Experience in authoring and publishing NuGet packages
  • Knowledge of SBOM (Software Bill of Materials) generation and software supply chain security best practices
