About the Project: platform extension will enable users to consume data more intuitively directly from comments, transforming how content is engaged with and understood.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in large-scale distributed systems
- 5+ years in one or more general-purpose programming languages (Go, Python, Rust, Ruby)
- Proven track record of developing and improving highly scalable and reliable serving systems
- Experience leading projects involving cross-team and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in designing and implementing APIs (GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, or gRPC)
- Expertise in distributed caching layers and large-scale distributed data storage systems (e.g., Cassandra)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective collaboration skills
- A commitment to continuous learning and mentoring others.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of past projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams to align on strategy and deliver features that delight users
- Contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and deployment
- Review and provide feedback on code, design documentation, product specifications, and mockups
- Establish and promote standards to improve developer workflows, advocate best practices, and mentor junior engineers to grow their technical expertise
- Participate in a team of motivated, fast-moving engineers committed to delivering innovative solutions
- Continuously expand and refine your technical and non-technical skills.
