We are looking for a Python/Go Engineer with DevOps knowledge to join a world-famous product. We are open to hiring specialists located in Poland. You will have the opportunity to work either remotely or in the office.
Project:
The product allows users to store everything in a single space, including regular files, data from the cloud, and web shortcuts.
Recently, our DevOps team orchestrated the migration of both stateless and stateful services to Kubernetes, ensuring a seamless transition. The objective was to enhance durability, fortify security, and simplify scalability by migrating all services and features. The migration is currently 95% complete, and the team is engaged in various debugging, problem-solving, and improvement tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Apply expertise in Python and Golang to project tasks.
- Adapt swiftly to custom implementations and evolving project needs.
- Work with various custom solutions and scripting languages.
- Examine and interpret project documentation to understand specific implementations.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to custom solutions.

The interview process will consist of technical interview, manager interview, and client interviews (3 steps). The client’s interviews: HR, Coding, EM.
Overlap time requirements: up to 10 am PST.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent technical experience
- 3+ years of coding experience, Python and/or Golang preferred
- 1+ years of experience working with Linux in a production environment
- Demonstrated skill developing distributed systems
- Familiarity with config management tools, such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Experience with using monitoring tools to maintain reliability of production services
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with fundamental services, such as DHCP, DNS, NTP, or PXE
- 3+ years of experience working with Linux
- Experience with cloud compute services, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
Nice to have:
Experience with frontend development, such as JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.
