Power BI (Data & Reporting) Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Power BI (Data & Reporting) Engineers to support the development of reports and improve data visibility for NTech and BSL timelines, scope and issues. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with data from various sources and modifying existing codebases to instrument and extract the necessary information.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain insightful reports using Power BI
  • Identify data gaps and instrument the platform to improve data visibility
  • Analyze data using Kusto (KQL), AppInsights, and SQL
  • Modify and instrument the C# codebase to capture missing data when required
  • Investigate and resolve data quality issues across multiple teams

Requirements:

Must-have skills:

  • PowerBI – experience in building and maintaining interactive reports and dashboards
  • MS SQL – strong knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data
  • C# – ability to read, modify, and instrument existing codebases
  • Data analysis, data quality analysis – solid understanding of data investigation techniques and experience identifying and resolving data quality issues

Nice to have skills:

  • Kusto / AppInsights for data analysis – familiarity with KQL and Application Insights for log and telemetry analysis
  • Cross-team collaboration and issues driving – experience working across multiple teams to investigate and resolve data-related issues
  • Azure services experience – knowledge of cloud services and tools within the Azure ecosystem

Overlap time requirements – standard CET working time, possible (1-2 times per week) meetings up to 10 pm CET.
