
Akvelon is looking for Middle and Senior .NET Software Engineers to join a long-term project for a global technology leader. We are expanding several engineering teams building and supporting enterprise-scale cloud services used by millions of users worldwide. This is an opportunity to work with modern Azure technologies, distributed systems, and high-performance cloud applications.
Location is strictly limited to Poland and Serbia.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native backend services using C# and .NET.
- Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications running on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and improve distributed systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design.
- Work with Azure networking, cloud infrastructure, and platform services.
- Depending on the team, contribute to Kubernetes (AKS)-based environments and cloud infrastructure improvements.
Requirements:
- Commercial experience with C# and .NET.
- Experience building backend services and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native application architecture.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or similar deployment tools.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and improving application reliability.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, clean code, testing, and version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized workloads.
- Knowledge of Azure networking concepts.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation.
- Experience working with high-scale production systems.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Azure AI.
