We are looking for a Mid-to-senior DevOps Engineer into a world-famous product. We can hire specialists located in Poland. You will have the opportunity to work remotely or in the office (but in this location).
Project Overview:
The project – the industry-leading and trusted platform that efficiently powers your customer engagement innovation.
The team is tasked with building infrastructure, including VPCs, subnets, routes, and other essentials needed prior to cluster creation. They’ve developed a Terraform module to automate this process, but are overwhelmed with requests and seeking assistance. Currently, they are in need of one Mid-Senior DevOps engineer.

Must have requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps and Software Development environment.
- Proficiency with Python or Go.
- Experience with different architectures and services running on AWS public cloud infrastructure at scale using automation to support deployment, scaling, monitoring, and management.
- Deep familiarity with Linux (CentOS/RHEL or Ubuntu preferred), bash scripting, service configuration and management.
- Experience with AWS tools to manage the security access to the different cloud resources like firewalls rules, IAM policies & roles, Security Groups, IdC (Identity Center), account provisioning, secrets management among others.
- Experience in deployment tools and frameworks, with an understanding of continuous deployment processes following IaC (Infrastructure as Code) approach. (ex: Github, Buildkite, Terraform, ArgoCD).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and internet application fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, load balancing, etc.)
- Skills to work independently with multiple global teams, developing, configuring, deploying, and operating the global infrastructure for Twilio Infrastructure Platform, blending operational excellence with development best practices.
- GOOD English fluency is a must for this role. We are looking for High Intermediate/Advanced or Fluent both written and spoken English level.
Nice to have requirements:
- Operational experience in complex distributed systems, including experience with SLO/SLAs towards high availability and reliability goals, including tools like DataDog or Grafana.
- Experience building and managing systems with tools including Kubernetes, Chef/Ansible/Puppet, Kafka, and Docker.
- Experience operating large scale systems and media services in production across multiple regions or data centers in a cloud platform or enterprise scale environment.
- Experience with monitoring and instrumentation of distributed systems.
