Middle-Senior Android Engineer (Canada)

The project is a financial software and services app. A financial solution for corporate expenses management. The platform provides a variety of services: banking card (credit/debit), WEB application for management and reporting and mobile companion applications for Spenders. Easy and user-friendly solution for complex corporate financial challenges.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK
  • Experience implementing MVVM and Clean Architecture design patterns
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Coroutines for asynchronous programming
  • Strong proficiency with Android development tools, libraries, and lifecycle components
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services
  • Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced mobile applications using Kotlin and the Android SDK
  • Implement and maintain MVVM architecture and apply Clean Architecture principles
  • Develop asynchronous features using Coroutines for smooth user experiences
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement new features
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code with a focus on testability
  • Conduct code reviews
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code
