We are planning to expand the Akvelon Java team and are currently looking for strong mid-level developers. It’s a long-term project. We welcome hiring in Ukraine, offering the flexibility to work remotely.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with Java (8.0+)
- Proficiency with Spring Frameworks
- Experience with Testing Frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)
- Familiarity with Message Brokers (Apache Kafka, Apache AMQ, etc.)
- Understanding of Microservice architecture, patterns, and approaches
- Intermediate written and spoken English skills
The ideal person needs to be driven, self-starter, have strong self-discipline, and be able to work to tight deadlines. You will also need to have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment and work independently on client engagements.
Tools and Technologies:
Java 11, SpringBoot 2.x (Spring 5.x), Hibernate 5.x, Kafka, PostgreSQL, jUnit + Mockito, microservice architecture
Communication: be available until 10-11 am PST
