We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with deep experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and strong fullstack web development capabilities. The ideal candidate has handson expertise building enterprisegrade web experiences using AEM Sites/Assets, and productionlevel coding experience with React, Java, and modern web technologies. This role will help design, build, and maintain scalable digital experiences that support hightraffic, global products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, templates, services, and workflows.
- Implement reusable UI components using React, ensuring performance, accessibility, and crossbrowser compatibility.
- Build backend services and integrations using Java, OSGi, Sling Models, and AEM Cloud SDK.
- Partner with designers, PMs, and content authors to translate requirements into scalable AEM solutions.
- Integrate AEM with downstream systems (REST APIs, authentication services, asset pipelines, analytics tools).
- Troubleshoot AEM platform issues across Sites, Assets, permissions, builds, and deployments.
- Ensure all solutions meet enterprise security and operational readiness standards.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7+ years professional experience in web/software engineering.
- Strong, handson AEM expertise (Cloud Service preferred): Components, editable templates, Sling Models; AEM Sites/Assets, workflows, user permissions; Dispatcher configuration & caching principles
- Proficiency with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, modern frontend tooling.
- Solid Java development background (OSGi, Maven, REST, build pipelines).
- Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG), SEO, analytics instrumentation.
- Strong debugging skills across frontend, backend, and AEM platform layers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, Cloud Manager, and automated deployments.
- Familiarity with Adobe Analytics/Customer Journey, Launch, Target, or broader Adobe Experience Cloud tools.
- Experience integrating headless AEM Content Fragments with React apps.
- Knowledge of CDN/edge caching strategies, performance tuning, and global site optimization.
- Prior experience in enterprise environments with complex compliance and security requirements.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GraphQL (AEM GraphQL or federated APIs).
- Understanding of localization frameworks and multisite, multilocale publishing.
- Background in design systems, component libraries, or authoring frameworks.
