Mid Full-Stack Software Engineer — Node.js / React / AWS

We are looking for Mid Full-Stack Software Engineers to join a team working on a financial technology product for a major global enterprise client.

You will work as an individual contributor directly within the client’s engineering team, contributing to the development of distributed web applications built around micro-frontend and microservice architectures.

The project requires strong collaboration with a US-based team and full working-day overlap with Eastern Time (ET).

This is a short-term engagement through December 31, 2026, with an ASAP start.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Node.js.
• Build and support frontend solutions based on micro-frontend architecture.
• Develop backend services using microservices architecture.
• Design and integrate APIs and distributed backend components.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Build and maintain cloud-based solutions in AWS.
• Work with AWS services such as:
  • Lambda
  • ECS
  • SQS
  • EventBridge
  • CloudFront
  • Application Load Balancer
• Write automated tests using Jest and/or Playwright.
• Contribute to infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines based on GitLab CI/CD.
• Collaborate directly with engineers and stakeholders from the client’s US-based team.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, debugging, and production support.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong commercial experience with React.
• Hands-on production experience with micro-frontends — mandatory.
• Hands-on backend microservices experience — mandatory.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or DynamoDB.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Hands-on AWS experience; ideally several of:
  • SQS
  • Lambda
  • ECS
  • CloudFront
  • ALB
  • EventBridge
• Experience with Jest and/or Playwright.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience working in distributed or cloud-based systems.
• Comfortable working independently as an IC in an international engineering team.
• English sufficient for daily technical discussions with a US-based team.
