Key Responsibilities:
- Increase Test Coverage: Build and expand automated tests to ensure comprehensive test coverage and higher quality code.
- Tooling Development: Design, implement, and improve tools to streamline testing processes and boost productivity.
- Work Independently: Take full ownership of tasks, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Decision Making: Make informed decisions on technical approaches, testing strategies, and tools.
- Collaboration: Work with the team to ensure smooth integration with other systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Improve existing test frameworks, creating scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions.
Key requirements:
- 5+ Years Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on front-end engineering and E2E testing.
- Strong Frontend Expertise: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and related libraries or frameworks.
- Playwright Framework: In-depth knowledge and experience with Playwright for automated browser testing and writing E2E tests.
- Independent & Self-Motivated: Ability to manage tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good Decision-Making: Ability to make informed technical decisions and implement solutions.
- Strong Communication: Clear communication skills to document work and collaborate with remote teams.
Nice to have:
- Experience of Selenium framework
- Experience or the ability to leverage AI for enhancing test automation, optimizing test cases, or other related processes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with testing suites.
- Experience with cloud-based development or testing environments.
