Full Stack Engineer (Node + React) Canada

The project is a financial software and services app. A financial solution for corporate expenses management. The platform provides a variety of services: banking card (credit/debit), WEB application for management and reporting and mobile companion applications for Spenders. Easy and user-friendly solution for complex corporate financial challenges.

Role includes 70% backend development and 30% frontend work

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript
  • Proficient in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) tests
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS and SQS, CloudWatch, CLoudFormation, SFTP, ApiGateway)
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch 6
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Knowledge of MongoDB

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test new features
  • Write robust unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) tests to ensure code quality and reliability
  • Design and optimize backend services with a focus on performance, security, and scalability
  • Monitor and troubleshoot applications in a production environment using AWS tools
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes and best practices
