We are forming new development teams in Mexico for a large-scale logistics and maritime industry project. The project focuses on developing innovative software solutions to optimize cargo operations, improve efficiency, and streamline logistics processes for ports and terminals worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact system that major global logistics providers use.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional Agile development team (Software Engineers, Analysts, Test Engineers).
  • Design and develop high-quality software solutions with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Oversee team performance, conduct bi-annual reviews, and ensure motivation and professional growth.
  • Ensure best practices in software development, documentation, and testing are followed.
  • Drive the integration of software systems with third-party solutions.
  • Maintain and improve test automation suites, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation tools.
  • Collaborate with other product teams and departments to align development efforts with business goals.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in software development, working on complex and high-impact projects.
  • 4+ years of experience in a managerial role, successfully leading and scaling development teams.
  • Solid technical background with hands-on expertise in either Back-end or Front-end Development, ensuring a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and drive teams toward success.
  • Excellent communication abilities, fostering effective collaboration between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written), enabling seamless interaction in an international work environment.

Nice to have: 

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Familiarity with modern software architecture principles (microservices, distributed systems).
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or maritime industry.
