About the project
We are looking for a Delivery Manager who will be responsible for the projects’ start, implementation and successful delivery to various Akvelon clients.
Responsibilities:
- Own delivery commitments and make sure they are met
- Provide transparency for project stakeholders and manage their expectations
- Set up new development teams, including hiring and onboarding
- Facilitate collaboration within the team, remove impediments for team effectiveness
- Develop, coach and evaluate the engineering team
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with at least 2+ years in project/delivery management
- Familiarity with current web technologies, trends and solution architecture approaches
- Proven experience in establishing and/or measurably improving the software development process on a project with 10 or more engineers
- Solid understanding of and practical experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to details, outstanding self-organization and planning skills
- English: Upper-Intemediate or higher
Would be a plus:
- Experience in presales activities
- Experience in managing fixed price projects, tracking project budget
