Responsibilities:
The role focuses on building scalable and effective systems that ensure ad quality, brand safety, and integration with third-party ad verification partners.
Key areas of ownership include:
- Ad Reviews: Systems for pre-launch ad moderation with a focus on automated review pipelines.
- Brand Safety Signals: Development of scalable safe-for-ads classification systems and advertiser control tools.
- Verification: Integration with third-party tools to validate ad performance and support revenue growth.
- Collaborating with product managers, driving operational improvements, building extensible backend components, and supporting project execution with ownership
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience with Go, Python, and Scala
- Experience with Frameworks: Spark, Thrift, Kafka
- Strong experience with data storage technologies (Postgres, BigQuery, Redis, Druid)
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes)
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow)
Nice to have:
- Experience working in the Ads domain GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift basics
- Experience with prompt engineering, machine learning or data science
Overlap time requirements: daily overlap till 12pm PST
